Stents for Stroke

Stent thrombectomy is offered at select U.S. hospitals, including Comprehensive Stroke Centers certified by the Joint Commission, an independent, nonprofit accreditation organization. The Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center certification program was developed in collaboration with the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.

The following list is current as of April 22, 2016, and is subject to change. Other U.S. hospitals also offer thrombectomy for acute stroke patients who qualify. Check with your local hospital for information.
